Benz Clicker Presses cut textiles, paper, corrugated, synthetics, leather, rubber and plastics. In two sizes, they cut flexible and rigid materials, including cloth, elastomers, lightweight metals and rigid composites.
Benz CP750 and CP1500 clicker presses are laboratory quality. They are clean and totally pneumatic, unlike other clicker presses, which are hydraulic, causing them to create mist and often leak oil.
Because they are not hydraulic, the Benz CP750 and CP1500 operate quietly. Not only in the laboratory, but in the factory and craftshop, this is a major improvement over loud, less well engineered hydraulic presses.
Benz clicker presses are based on an innovative energy efficient design. The cutting surface of the table actually rises to meet the upper platen, saving energy and eliminating the need for an hydraulic, often inaccurate swing arm. The surface moves vertically, leveling a direct and even force, as opposed to an hydraulic swing arm, which creates an offset load and uneven force. A swing arms uneven force uses more energy and puts uneven pressure on the die, creating a less accurate cut.
For laboratories, factories and craftshops, the Benz CP750 and CP1500 offer a major cost savings, too. Their price is less half that of competitive size hydraulic models.
